Investment requirements

• The minimum investment has been reduced from €5 million to €2.5 million*.

• The applicant’s parents are also eligible to apply for citizenship, by investing an additional €500,000 in a permanent residential property.
• Donation of at least €75,000 to the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation
• Donation of at least €75,000 to the Cyprus Land Development Corporation
• Investment in the Shipping sector is included
• Investment in Registered Alternative Investment Funds is included, as well as the option for these organisations to invest up to €200,000 in the Cyprus Stock Exchange secondary market
• A combination of different economic criteria is available: the total investment should be €2,650, 000 million (Property of €500,000 + other investments in Cyprus of €2 million)

* A minimum investment of only €2 million is acceptable provided that the investment is only made in residential property, of which one property must be worth not less than €500,000 and must be the investor’s private residence.
